The singer talked about it for the first time in 2009 with PBS talk show host Tavis Smiley. “I used to have seizures when I was young,” he said. “My mother and father didn’t know what to do or how to handle it, but they did the best they could with what little they had.”

In 2013, R&B singer Chris Brown suffered a seizure at a Los Angeles recording studio. According to Brown’s representatives, the artist had a non-epileptic seizure as a result of “intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”
When paramedics arrived at the studio, Record Plant in Hollywood, where Brown suffered the seizure, he reportedly refused treatment.

Former NFL twin brother football stars, Tiki and Ronde Barber, suffered from seizures together as they grew up.
In a 2007 interview with Today.com, Tiki talked about experience saying, “I think I was 1 when we — talking about me and my brother — had our first seizures. I don’t know if it’s genetic or coincidence, but we would always have them at the same time. So my mom was always extremely stressed about it.”
